Revell NATO Pilots set (02402)

This set was released quite recently by Revell and contains what has been awaited for quite some time by lots of 1/72 modellers: injected plastic seated pilots in large numbers!

Fujimi Deck crew

This set is the only set to offer a plastic-injected (i.e. cheap!) Tow tractor and carrier deck crew. The carrier is quite good in shape and will require only minor improvements to be nice and detailed. Not that this is the early representation of the MD-3 tractor, the new ones are about 2mm larger (in 1/72nd scale!) in the back half. The deck crew is a bit varied, some figures are well sculpted and the proportions look right, while some are very slim and display massive flash (See pictures). Overall, a very useful set for anyone willing to model a US Navy carrier-based aircraft in action!
